La Habra H S Distinguished Alum[edit]

There is one distinguished alum of LHHS listed in the entry for this high school. A news clipping indicates that Janine (sp.?) Altmeyer her maiden and professsional name (grad 1966) came to be a highly regarded Opera singer (soprano), performing, for example, at the MET in NY frequently to critical acclaim. As I recall she now resides in France with her husband and children. This information needs to be confirmed and refined. No doubt there are many others... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.132.160.74 (talk) 03:45, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bill Walton[edit]

I'm pretty sure Bill Walton played basketball at La Habra H.S. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.138.80.211 (talk) 17:57, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sources say he went to Helix High School. Can you cite it to a reliable source? tedder (talk) 18:23, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Major Deletions[edit]

Recently, one individual deleted a significant portion of this article (if not the majority of it). Now the article is very short and unsubstantial. Should we revert those changes or edit some of them back in? I am willing to take this article under my wing if need be. Reddbredd (talk) 23:52, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I removed it with a link to the article guidelines for schools. The article certainly needs to be improved, but unsourced and indiscriminate information is not helpful. The article guidelines give great suggestions for areas of improvement; a good part of the removed content would be appropriate for a school newspaper, not Wikipedia. tedder (talk) 01:23, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
