query[edit]

How do I go about getting this page in line with the standards of Wikipedia? Is there a process by which it would be possible to neutralize the subjectivity and make it objective, which was my goal anyway, as the article is completely neutral with 3rd party citations and references -- thanks in advance! i work at WP:COIN a lot and saw the posting on Jimbo's page. This article is reasonable in my view. Jytdog (talk) 22:22, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested Updates[edit]

Hi, to have this Wikipedia article up to date I would like to suggest the following edits:

  • 1) "[...]and is a collaboration of 17 other professional societies representing the laboratory medicine community."

The latest number in this case is 18. Can I please update it in the article.

  • 2) "The website is available through 17 sites worldwide [...]"

The latest number in this case is 15. Can I please update it in the article.

  • 3) "In 2016, the US site received about 2.5 million visitors a month. To date, the US site and 15 country versions have received more than 300 million visitors."

Would it be possible to add this part to the end of the article. I'm happy to rewrite if the tone is not suitable. The source is: https://www.aacc.org/global-health-outreach/lab-tests-online Please let me know in case of any questions. Thank you! --AnnaatWebcertain (talk) 15:10, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I will make the content with respect to 1 and 2 general, so that we don't have to update every time things tick up and down. This is an encyclopedia, not the website for the organization. On the last one, an independent source is what we need for that kind of information. As much as possible please bring independent sources (not from labs online, not from acc, not a press release, not churnalism that lightly edits and republishes a press release. independent.
