Cultivation[edit]

I have deleted the statement that this is an heirloom plant. According to the heirloom plant article, this would imply it is not widely available commercially - which is not true, at least in the UK. Cavalo nero can often be found in supermarkets. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Newburyjohn (talkcontribs) 18:46, 13 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Growing[edit]

Please add information relevant to growing this plant.-96.237.4.73 (talk) 18:00, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Zwarte kool[edit]

Its not that in Dutch, its Palmkool (palm cabbage). Zwarte kool is a translation of Cavolo nero, which translation is used in the Amsterdam culinary scene. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:981:3A5E:1:ADBC:D167:287B:86F6 (talk) 16:15, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Article name[edit]

I question that this article should be called "Lacinato Kale". This appears to be a recent US commercial name and not the traditional name in either English or in Italian — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.175.66.57 (talk) 05:54, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
