NRHP[edit]

There is no indication that Lake County Courthouse (Ohio) is on the NRHP. The old 1840 courthouse is now the Painesville CIty Hall, which is on the NRHP, and may be the source of the confusion, or it may be that there are several Lake County Courthouses on the NRHP, but not this one. There is a nearby historic district (Mentor Avenue District), but its boundaries do not include the courthouse.
