Removing most of the article

[edit]

I've removed most of the article, simply because it isn't supported by any source. Who says that it's bounded by such-and-such? No question that such could be sourced or that it would be appropriate to include it if we could source it, but as is there's no reason to have it on there. Population, too, is the same way. As far as the map — it's a map for the town, not for the village. Nyttend (talk) 13:52, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Some sources

[edit]
  • [1] (page 758 has population figure)
  • [2] (population time series)
  • [3] (has some demographic and economic data)
  • [4] (shows boundaries)
  • [5] (more detailed map)

Name

[edit]

What is the source of the name? I've read it said that it's named after the daughter of the owner of the Mill, but that's not mentioned here...about 120 years of history are actually missing, and not mentioned in the Town of Hallie article either. Ya ya sofixit. 96.41.249.21 (talk) 03:04, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
