Comments[edit]

Please cite sources on the posit that the lake is hilarious? It sounds credible but I would prefer to see documentation nonetheless. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.202.106.58 (talkcontribs) 20:54, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Poopó LakeLake Poopó – Lake Poopó is the more commonly used name, and most articles and online sources refer to it as Lake Poopó (although often without the accent). Sources: [1][2][3][4][5] Gaius Solstius (talk) 17:10, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Fish in a dried-out lake?[edit]

The article states that "Three to four native fish species inhabit the lake", and yet the article states that the lake has dried out. This combination seems odd. Joreberg (talk) 17:28, 10 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Tenses[edit]

The article is a mix of past and present tense that should be cleaned up. The lead changed last year from "was" to "is" based on a possibly-temporary refilling. I don't know if the lake is back to "was" status. The article should be self-consistent either way. Vox Sciurorum (talk) 21:41, 15 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
