US Lakefest[edit]

Hello!

Wanted to let you know the oldest Lakefest began in Jamestown, Kentucky, USA in 1969. It has run annually since then except for 2020 due to Covid concerns. It is returning in 2021. Lakefest is held on the 4th of July weekend each year. There has been many activities, including a 1oK/5K run, car parade, artisan booths, food vendors, beauty pageants, lip-syncing contest, talent contests, and even golf outings, etc. . . all culminating in a concert with a well-known celebrity on the last night, right on the square, with a fireworks show at the end.
