The Robin Hood and Little John pub is now under new management and has been renamed The Robin Hood Inn.

Sourced content deleted by an editor with a history of deletion at this article[edit]

I have restored the full, correctly sourced content deleted by Gumsaint.

The new Crematorium is a facility, a local-government funded provision created at major cost; there are no commercial considerations so allusions to advertising are irrelevant - it is simply impracticable to argue that usage could be determined on a cost-basis, hence it is of local and encyclopaedic value. It doesn't matter whether it's government funded or not. Don't try to promote/spam and give undue weight to such stuff.   - Having now looked deeper, I realise this is not run by the local-administration as shown more-clearly in this archived piece - my bad, I surmised it was PFI, to initially mitigate development front-end cost.       - Considering the deleted links, Mansfield crematorium is owned and operated long term by Mansfield District Council, Bramcote long term jointly by Broxtowe and Erewash councils, and Wilford Hill now by Nottingham City Council. Ergo it was reasonable not to anticipate a private facility, but reminds one not to discount any such eventualities in future due to outsourcing of services (eg property rentals), authorities collaborating to reduce common costs (eg Mansfield/Ashfield legal), and with increasing wider reports of significant investment in commercial property due to low interest rates (eg MDC), all in the name of defraying losses due to central government cutbacks.--86.29.222.228 (talk) 03:00, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
