CCC Headquarters

[edit]

From the article: "Liberty Hall served as ... CCC Headquarters"

Does anyone know was CCC stands for?--Dbolton 05:58, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I suspect, given the timeframe, that "CCC" here refers to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilian_Conservation_Corps (1933 to 1942). Joseph Smith III was leader of The Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints before, during, and after the time he lived at Liberty Hall in Lamoni. Church headquarters moved to Independence, Missouri in 1920. The name "Community of Christ" was not used for the church until 2007 by which time Liberty Hall had long been established in its current role as a museum.
