Regarding the Russian steel story; I would like to see citations and references to reliable sources for it. Is it a fact or is it just a rumor like the one regarding the immensely rust-prone BMW E9 using Chinese steel? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Elp gr (talkcontribs) 19:26, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'd be interested to see a reliable source too; I've seen the story quoted many times, but I've also seen claims from what should be reliable sources that it was all an urban legend. Would be nice to finally track down the truth or otherwise of the 'russian steel' story. Mark Grant 15:50, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I am deleting the whole Soviet steel story. I've found out what was really going on; the whole "Soviet steel" rumour cannot be verified by any source whatsoever and is quite possibly part of the Daily Mirror's libelous campaign against Lancia. What happened goes back to the days of the Lancia Beta and I've written about it there. Elp gr 16:59, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
