LFCA vs JTFC[edit]

LFCA is part of the LFC and is responsible for Force Generation of forces, whether for domestic or international operations. JTFC is responsible for conducting operations in the central Canadian area. Essentially the Army prepares (trains and equips) forces for CANCOM and CEFCOM to employ. It is somewhat confusing as many of the staff are double hatted with responsibilities in each organization but there remain two distinct organizations. Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that Land Force Central Area be merged into 4th Canadian Division, per this press release issued 8 July 2013[1]. Plasma east (talk) 11:50, 9 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I second this proposal. As it stands, the 4th Cdn Div article would be easy to merge to LFCA as the historical aspect. We should then change the name of the article to 4th Canadian Division and redirect LFCA here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Matt R Austin (talkcontribs) 17:34, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
