"Langspiel"
[edit]As far as I know "spiel" has never been an Icelandic spelling of the word "spil". I believe I have read all 20th century Icelandic works on this instrument as well as the Leiðarvísir from 1855 and never encountered this. Is this from some of the English language writings of Mackenzie or Stanley or their followers? -130.208.183.161 (talk) 14:24, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

To add to article
[edit]Basic information to add to this article: how the frets are generally spaced on a langspil. Are they diatonic, chromatic, or something else? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 14:13, 9 May 2021 (UTC)
