Given the number of articles citing Danny Gans as an 11 time winner of Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year, it seemed odd that Wikipedia had no listing of the title. I thought I'd begin one based on a few quick searches, although information on the "award" was very sparse.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Jordanwf (talkcontribs)

You're right, it is a real award. My apologies for tagging it as vandalism: never heard of Gans until you linked his name. MuffledThud (talk) 23:47, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Depends on your standards of what a "real" award is. I live in Las Vegas, and though I've heard of Gans' multiple wins, amd the wiki says that Shields & Yarnell won it twice, I never heard of an awards ceremony, and does anyone know of any governing body? It may be "real" but I doubt it's "legit." Bustter (talk) 15:23, 27 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

CAN'T SOMEONE UPDATE THIS PAGE? THE ANNUAL AWARD GOES BACK MANY DECADES. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jerryldixon (talkcontribs) 17:22, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
