British support in Vietnam not Korea[edit]

Britain had soldiers in Korea It was US involvement in Vietnam which Britain would not support. (edited as I wrote Vietnamn with an M at the end, incorrectly) 46.46.194.54 (talk) 16:52, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You're correct, I don't know why that sentence was added as it was incorrect. I removed the sentence about Korea. DDMS123 (talk) 18:44, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Scoffing at european army language difficulties?[edit]

Having just listened to his memoirs of WWII what he scoffed at was not the language but the idea of multinationals donning one uniform. He advocated national armies united and allied rather than subsumed under one uniform. From his writings he never mentioned the language issue in these memoirs, or is that elsewhere? 46.230.132.242 (talk) 17:22, 26 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
