References
[edit]The whole section on phonology lacks references. What's the source of those data? Kevinbaet (talk) 05:38, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
Independent nouns
[edit]The morphology section states that na is the only independent noun, but then also that it's added to nouns. So is it really a noun or rather an affix? Kevinbaet (talk) 05:38, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
Pronouns
[edit]The last few sentences in the sub-section on pronouns donʻt make much sense: "When a pronoun is suffixed to a verb, a second object appears in the suffixed pronoun singular and plural third. Lastly, when a pronoun is used as the subject of a verb such as i, there are multiple ways you can use it. One way is when the suffixed pronoun cannot be added to a word, the longer forms of i are used as possessive pronouns. Shorter forms of i are always used with the forms of i because they cannot be used by themselves as the subject." These should be rephrased. Kevinbaet (talk) 05:38, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
Verbs vs. predicates
[edit]If "any word" can be used as a "verb", then the verb is not a distinct word class. Perhaps what the sub-section on verbs should say is that any word can be used as a predicate, and that a distinct verb class doesnʻt exist in Lau. The rest of that paragraph isnʻt very clear either. It is not clear what ko and ka refer to, as the glosses are missing, and how they're different in usage. Kevinbaet (talk) 05:38, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
Adverbs
[edit]The sub-section on adverbs doesn't make it clear whether adverbs are really a separate word class in Lau. Or do nouns, verbs (see above) and adjectives cover the function that adverbs would take in other languages? Kevinbaet (talk) 05:38, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
Adjectives
[edit]The sub-section on adjectives gives examples of two prefixes, but those examples don't actually show those prefixes. Kevinbaet (talk) 05:38, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
Prepositions
[edit]Two different types of prepositions are described, but examples are missing. Kevinbaet (talk) 05:38, 29 April 2019 (UTC)
