A game that introduces a new genre of gaming targeted specifically at young girls makes a low-priority article? 67.175.164.222 (talk) 05:11, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I seriously doubt this could be classified as the first educational game targeted at girls, Dance Fantasy predates it by 11 years, educational software can be very obscure indeed and there are probably other examples dotted around between then and 2005 1995. Ideally such a claim would be well substantiated and I don't feel it is in this case. Feel free to drop by the games project if you want someone else to look at it. Well, "Laura's Happy Adventures" was proclaimed as the very first adventure game to be made targeted at, but not specifically, girls. I don't know where it would stand in the genre of educational software, as it hardly fits under that genre. The game does try to influence good morals and values, but its main purpose is child-friendly entertainment. T.W. (talk) 17:30, 7 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Other Sources for "Controversy"?[edit]

That whole claim about the game teaching the wrong lessons (e.g., that it's a girl's "job" to make others happy, etc.) only comes from one source. It may even be just that one website's personal perception of the game. Are there any other sources that feel the same way? Brittany Ka (talk) 02:13, 12 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
