Resignation from the foreign ministry

[edit]

See "Laurent Fabius, French Foreign Minister, Steps Down" which dates the announcement to 10 February 2016. The same NY Times article says "President François Hollande said on Wednesday that he would nominate Mr. Fabius to lead the Constitutional Council, the highest constitutional court in the country." Coverage of 2012-2016 could be improved

[edit]

In the French article see fr:Laurent Fabius#Ministre des Affaires étrangères (2012-2016), which is over a thousand words. Our English article has no corresponding section about his service as foreign minister during this period. EdJohnston (talk) 03:14, 12 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

'he reckoned that "Al-Nosra was doing a good job"': FAKE NEWS !

[edit]

This is a fake news, he quoted Arab leaders after a meeting, he never expressed the French position nor his in saying that, cf. Adrien Sénécat, "Laurent Fabius et le « bon boulot » du Front Al-Nosra en Syrie, histoire d’une citation dévoyée", Le Monde, 21 March 2017. --Minorities observer (talk) 07:34, 26 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
