Years[edit]

The Award years in this article are not right, the awards are presented in Jan of each year, for outstanding performance in the previous year. This table lists the performance year, not the year that the award was presented. There is a valid case for presenting the information this way, but it is not clear what is being done. Also, the corresponding women's ward lists the years differently - they should use the same method. I have not checked the pages for the other awards also given by Laureus at the same time (e.g. team of the year ...) 101.112.201.8 (talk) 04:36, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple nominations listing for Armstrong.[edit]

Laureus have rescinded all Armstrong's nominations but still list them [1]. I've marked them as rescinded in the main year by year table. But should we leave any mention in the table of total nominations?--Peter cohen (talk) 00:56, 8 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

this award is kinda ridiculous[edit]

Formula One is not even a real sport. So many sports are overlooked completely. 67.85.243.64 (talk) 19:45, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Take it up with Laureus. The Rambling Man (Hands! Face! Space!!!!) 19:46, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
yeah, I know. Why is this article using "British" English when Laureus is an American organization? So many questions that have no good answers... )) Cheers! 67.85.243.64 (talk) 19:49, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No, it's not American. And if you visited their website, you'd know they write it using British English. So many good answers for poor questions. Cheers! The Rambling Man (Hands! Face! Space!!!!) 20:01, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
