This is confusing. The link is indeed broken, as the Cyberbot suggests. But if I check "true", it makes it appear as if the link is fine. --Saukkomies talk 17:34, 29 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Village leader positions

[edit]

Is the position of President pro tempore notable enough to be listed in the leaders section of the village council info? Archigan (talk) 20:54, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • The President pro tempore is essentially a "vice president" position to serve in absence of the president, who is the presiding member of the council. The pro tempore person is often just a regular member of the 5–7 member council with no elevated authority. A municipal clerk, manager, or administrator usually has more authority, as they are typically independent from the village council (not elected but appointed by the council themselves). If you're asking if the president pro tempore is notable enough for the infobox section under village council, then yes. —Notorious4life (talk) 10:45, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
