Company Propaganda

[edit]

"As a family run company Lavazza has always had a special concern for the ethics and sustainability of its business model" This is company propaganda, since when has the the fact that a company has been majority owned and managed by a single family automatically meant that it is ethical. Have a look at the history of say Standard Oil, or Krupp. This statement has no external (to the company/family) referencing, and is a breach of NPOV — Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.175.176.253 (talk) 03:55, 21 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

When was the company formed? 1985 or 1895? their website seemed to say 1985, maybe a mistake? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 93.85.166.85 (talk) 09:34, 23 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Lavazza roasting facility was situated in C.so Giulio Cesare.

[edit]

I rememeber the smell of freshly roasted coffee coming out of the gates of the smallish building (with the Lavazza writing) then situated in C.so Giulio Cesare. My parents small grocery shop (from 1939-45) was situated 100 mt away.Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page).</ref> personal esperience Vanna Revelli Marre

Controversy Section

[edit]

I’ve removed the controversy section because of biased language (“ongoing genocide in Palestine”) and the lack of any citations Maxbillick (talk) 22:45, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
