Lawndale & Crescentville?

[edit]

I always thought Lawncrest was between Lawndale and Crescentville, which were the original neighborhoods. Why don't we have articles for them, too? Or is Lawncrest now considered to include both of those older neighborhoods?--BillFlis 11:23, 19 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Old name

This page says that Crescentville used to be called Grubbtown. Charming, no?--BillFlis (talk) 17:31, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was thrilled to see this Wikipedia page which contains the truth that there is NO Lawncrest -- that it is a name to encompass the two neighborhoods of Crescentville and Lawndale. To me it is sad that we are "losing" the true history of our neighborhoods to whims and misinformation. Lawncrest was never used prior to the building of a playground that was constructed to serve both neighborhoods.
