The New Editor[edit]

They have made it impossible to edit pages...Cyberplasm (talk) 19:26, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The VisualEditor certainly doesn't make it impossible to edit, or at least it shouldn't! You can find the user guide at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/User guide (shortcut WP:VE/UG), and the original editor remains available (and always will do) - just click "edit source" rather than "edit beta". As the "beta" label indicates, VisualEditor is not finished and does contain bugs. To help eradicate these bugs, it helps if people leave specific details of any problems they encounter at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback. Thryduulf (talk) 21:23, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

non-factual sentence/inappropriate source material[edit]

The source for this sentence "Although neither Hout or Boise State University have revealed what Hout said during his taunt, Boise State insiders say that he asked how one of Blount's dead relatives was." is an Oregon blog. The article from the blog is pretty inflammatory and the idea that Hout taunted Blount about a dead relative is presented as a rumor in the blog, not fact.

I suggest the sentence be removed or edited to indicate this is is rumor.

Error in article[edit]

Someone updated this page and got it wrong. This player was signed as an un-drafted free agent by the San Francisco 49ers, and not the Tennessee Titans. Article from San Francisco Chronicles web site www.sfgate.com reference the correct fact.

This is not an error. Blount agreed in principle to join the 49ers, but signed with the Titans instead. Eagles 24/7 (C) 19:30, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

civil war[edit]

There was a 2009 civil war??? Where was I? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.52.128.182 (talk) 20:35, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It is the name of the annual college football game between Oregon and Oregon State. Eagles 24/7 (C) 20:42, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Then put the word game after civil war, duh —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.52.128.182 (talk) 04:53, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The official title of the game is "Civil War," not "Civil War Game," so the current version is fine. Eagles 24/7 (C) 17:00, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

IPA for pronunciation of name[edit]

I have heard "garr" have the stress in LeGarrette. The IPA seems to say the first syllable is stressed, if I am understanding correctly. Should it be changed?
