The result of the move request was: Move. We have a rough consensus that the albums are the better known subject of this name, even though the choir alternately uses it. A hat note should take care of any additional confusion. Cúchullain t/c 18:53, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares (album)Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares – no need for a dab page with two entries. ―Justin (koavf)TCM 17:38, 25 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Well, the confusing thing about doing that is that the entity which is more often known as "Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares" (in Western Europe and North America) is the ensemble, whose official name is Bulgarian State Television Vocal Choir. The group tours under this name because of the success of the album. So you'd need a redirect and a hatnote to the album instead. The disambig page also solves the problem, I think somewhat more tidily than a hatnote would... Chubbles (talk) 18:04, 25 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support – This title usually refers to one of several albums recorded by Marcel Cellier, all of which are mentioned in this article. The choir happens to be sometimes named after the album, still the album(s) are primary topic. The choir does not even need a hatnote, as it is linked from the lead sentences. — JFG talk 21:33, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I understand your point of view, but would you want to rename the choir article to Le Mystère des Voix Bulgares (choir)? As long as the choir article remains at Bulgarian State Television Female Vocal Choir, the album article has superfluous disambiguation. — JFG talk 06:48, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I guess I'm just not really sure what the primary topics are at any title - The choir's official name is BSTFVC, but outside of Bulgaria itself it is almost surely more commonly known as LMDVB. And it's hard to say whether the choir or the (first) album ought to be the primary topic at LMDVB. So the dab makes a fair bit of intuitive sense; an alternate option would be to have LMDVB redirect to BSTFVC and have a hatnote saying {{redirect|LMDVB|for|the album by this name|LMDVB (album)}}, though it seems to me a bit ungainly. Yes, really hard to determine what should be considered primary topic, but as long as both articles prominently point to each other, it's no big deal. Let's see what other participants say. — JFG talk 07:01, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. While the situation is unusual as the subjects are closely related, I think readers would be better served by the proposed setup (i.e. a hatnote on the album page) than by a dab page. The album article is relatively short, and it's not like the "New York" case, so even the ones who landed on the wrong page would not be severely inconvenienced by it.
