Expansion of this article

I'm currently working to get this article up to par. Unfortunately my referenced draft was lost in a data crash, so I've had to start from scratch.

This subject needs extensive research -- the existing sources contain a lot of contradictory information. Many texts that icnlude "information" about Gordon are based on memoirs by his former business manager Alan Heffernan, whose views on Gordon's personal life are heavily coloured by his anti-drug stance, and these have been repeated in many subsequent texts, especially in reference to Gordon's supposed influence over Johnny O'Keefe.

As far as I can find out, no-one has attempted to look into Gordon's early life in the USA and there are at least two conflicting accounts of his real name and his date and place of birth Dunks (talk) 02:38, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
