2011 census results

New census results are out for Leeds. This makes a lot of the population data in this article inaccurate. I haven't got a lot of time to correct it myself at the moment, but thought I'd flag it up here. The population was overestimated by 30,000, real population is 751,500. Up 5.1% from 2001, below average population increase for UK. http://www.leeds.gov.uk/council/Pages/Leeds-population.aspx Kaleeyed (talk)

It's stated in the introduction that Leeds is the third largest city in England by population. And yet clicking the link List of cities in the United Kingdom, and sorting by population (2011) returns Leeds in second place behind Birmingham (pop 1,074,300) with a Leeds pop of 751,485, followed by Sheffield in third place. Are we comparing like with like? Andywebby (talk) 10:14, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
