Logo Removal

[edit]

Could someone please explain why was the logo deleted ?

The logo was removed by an automated bot, apparently the image broke the rules in some fashion. While I am sure the image was appropriate, I guess it was removed because it lacked a fair use rational or a justification as to why it could be freely used on Wikipedia. If you consult the rules concerning the uploading of images on wiki, you will find how to upload the picture and make sure it stays on. Don't worry about this kind of details, it happens all the time, media rules are kinda tricky at first. Youkai no unmei (talk) 19:04, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have now reinstated the logo, with the appropriate infobox and fair use rationale. The logo is reasonably low res, so should suffice under fair use. Somebody might be able to upload another one if they get a chance, unfortunately I could only use bicubic resampling to resize at the moment and it ended up a little jaggy. -- Twistie.man (talk) 09:52, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Leo Club in Malaysia

[edit]

Does anybody have any problems with me removing this section of the article? It is far too specific about the activities of a certain club. Most service organizations do not mention any clubs in their articles unless they are particularly notable (founding club, longest running, etc.). There also seems to be very few individual clubs listed on Wikipedia under separate articles, in fact none in the case of Lions and Leos. As such, I don't feel it is appropriate for this club to be given a separate article. This is an encyclopedia, not a blog or social network. I myself am a Leo club secretary and feel there is no need for club's to be added to Wikipedia on an individual level, nor as part of a larger article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Twistie.man (talkcontribs) 10:44, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Sub-Category

[edit]

I would like to add Sub category as Leo Clubs Country wise . It will be very informative for wiki visitors. boomboom 07:28, 18 January 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bishwa 777 (talkcontribs)

Needs updating

[edit]

Could someone please update the information here? The reference given is from 2010 or 2012 or so, and the age range has changed; I believe they now accept Leos (or "Leo-Lions", which I believe is sort of a transitional thing) up to age 35. I thus assume that some of the other information might also be outdated. (Sorry, I'm not much of a Wiki user, so I don't really know how to do it myself!)
