Grades

[edit]

Currently the school is listed (through ODE) as being grades 8-12. Any reason it isn't 9-12 like other high schools? It'd be worth having a bit of information on that, as it seems significant. tedder (talk) 06:37, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The fire

[edit]

It is highly disputable whether a random fire which cause some damage 5 years ago and has resulted in no further issues is noteworthy. There are fires at schools all the time. I have deleted this passage from the article and eagerly await the decision of this community on its noteworthiness (or lack thereof). Thank you very kindly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ballaucus (talkcontribs) 15:45, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We're constructing an encyclopedia. This article is part of that long term project. Keep the scope of this project in mind. Down the road there may be more material to build on. There really isn't that much to say about this high school; the article is fairly short as it is.
What we're trying to do is say something about the school; if we didn't say something in the article the article wouldn't exist. The fire is a significant and non-controversial event when looking at this school. I can't imagine not having detail like this in the article; it's what we do. Tedder is building the encyclopedia and is doing it by the book. Let's not deconstruct the article prematurely. Dawnseeker2000 16:40, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
