Television rights

He bought the television rights to the film to make sure it was never shown on TV.

Can anyone prove this? Sounds exactly like the myth that Cosby had bought the rights to Song of the South so that it would never be redistributed again. (Sugar Bear 16:07, 2 July 2006 (UTC))

I have seen this on television, so I believe it is untrue. madmardigan53 13:22, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

After many months of that still being in the article and nobody supporting the idea of it being there (also when I checked out IMDB a reviewer mentions seeing it on TV, which makes it even less likely that claim he brought the rights is true) I have removed that sentence. Cosby himself denounced and disowned it?

Is this true? It would imply he is capable of shame and remorse... 88.111.224.129 (talk) 14:59, 20 February 2018 (UTC)
