Find correct name The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere. The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.

Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

Leonor Telles de Meneses → Leonor Teles – The current title is half in current orthography and half in archaic orthography (complete archaic would be Telles de Menezes). Most sources nowadays use current orthography, just as any modern source would for any name really (spare exceptional cases, of whom this article's subject is not). I would opt for Leonor Teles (without the Meneses) as she appears in current literature as well as in the chronicles of Fernão Lopes and Pero López de Ayala. Eg: * Pina Baleiras, Isabel de (2013). No, she was already Leonor Teles, but you can make here also Leonor Teles, as all the historical alphabetized people. The name of family de Meneses came one or two decades after. There are no "What?" nor "Look", she has been always Leonor Teles on history and (amazing!) also in her letters. The problem is that your proposition included a name, Meneses, that is wrong. Conclusion: you where wrong in your proposition (and, from my point of view, a ignorant of history). Moral da história, the "What?" and the "Look" is: She can not be called de Meneses. Language for names[edit]

Why are all the names in this article in English? Is it partially copied from Britannica? Is it really too hard for English language readers to have to read "Juan" instead of "John," or "Fernando" instead of "Ferdinand"? Pascalulu88 (talk) 12:37, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
