The Abbey is not situated in Abbey Wood, which is a suburban settlement, but, according to the maps, in Lesnes Abbey Woods Peter Shearan (talk) 17:31, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it IS!

Abbey Wood is a suburban region of London straddling the border of the Boroughs of Bexley and Greenwich. The Abbey is a short walk from Abbey Wood station and the shops which are at the heart of that area. The land it is on borders on Abbey Road wich runs between lopwer Belvedere and Abbey Wood.
