hmm...doesn't need a lot; of course, would be better with an image, but I see how hard you're seeking one. We can live with that :) So, here's what we need to fiddle with:

In the lead, we have "lesopoval" within its literal translation of "tree-felling" as being somewhat generically symbolic of Siberian labor camps; however, ref number 1 indicates that tree-felling was a specifically brutal labor practice that occurred at the camps. Just make sure it reads more consistently and clearly :)

I think it can mean both the act of tree-felling (it could be screamed while the tree falls) and also the camps themselves, where these actions took place. There are sources for both definitions. I went ahead and added both to the intro. Minute Lake (talk) 09:06, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In the History section, this is interesting: "After being released from a Soviet Gulag upon Joseph Stalin's death, Mikhail Tanich would become a Russian poet. He wrote many poems that would, after he met Sergey Korzhukov in 1990, become the music of Lesopoval." We need more background and timeline details. When was Tanich born? What year was he released from the gulag? Why was he there? He was about 67 when he met Korzhukov... how'd they meet? What are the circumstances regarding Korzhukov's death, and Tanich's?
