Lestat the band

[edit]

Why is Harry Styles linked in this section? 2600:4041:56FA:F700:F4B6:296C:4AF2:8D03 (talk) 02:11, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It was vandalism that's been reverted at this point. DonIago (talk) 18:15, 13 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Photo of Lestat

[edit]

The photo of Lestat used here is Tom Cruise. I’d like to suggest that be substituted with Sam Reid, instead. The past two seasons of AMC’s Interview with a Vampire have proven he is the personification of the role. Tom Cruise did a great job, but it was not without controversy. Anyone else have opinions on this? If not, I’ll give this a few weeks and make the change. Reportersteven (talk) 17:31, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why not both? DonIago (talk) 17:40, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Is there an example of using both? Personally, I prefer that, but objectively, the movie is still way more well-known than the series, it still makes sense to use Tom Cruise's image. The same case with Hannibal Lecter. - Yolo4A4Lo (talk) 00:47, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't initially realize we were talking about the infobox, as the OP didn't specify that. Assuming we are talking about the infobox, then I don't think there is a way to use both (at least, not in a way that would look good) DonIago (talk) 03:41, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You really can't use two non-free images in the article per image guidelines, especially when free images of the performer exist. BUT if you can come up with a decent amount of sourced commentary about Sam Reid's appearance as the character, for example, you could probably justify using an image of him in character in the body of the article.— TAnthonyTalk 04:52, 27 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
