Sorry about the picture

[edit]

The photographer gave me permission to post it here but only with her copyright notice. I tried to explain about Wikipedia's policies but I guess I didn't explain it well enough so that she would want to just donate the picture. I hope that someone else can take a picture of some Shasta daisies and post it here and also on the article about Luther Burbank. It seems silly to have an article about a flower with no picture.Steve Dufour 05:28, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Does anybody know if this flower is considered complete or incomplete?

Parentage?

[edit]

Surely there are better references for the parentage of the "shasta daisy"? The parentage given in this article indicates this is an intergeneric hybrid, and thus its generic classification as Leucanthemum would be incorrect. 160.111.254.17 (talk) 16:55, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If the parentage is indeed as per the article, it would need a nothogenus name. However, so far I haven't found one, so it will have to stay as it is. Peter coxhead (talk) 18:10, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
