I disagree with the statement that Transition Town Lewes is 'a group of environmental activists'. The cited article is quite an opinionated article. The Transition Town movement is so much more than environmental activism. It is preparing communities for the transition to a low-oil situation, given the impending crises of climate change and peak oil. I thought this must have been a typo, but apparently this is true. Can anyone find a source indicating the motive behind this, as it would be interesting information for the article?

Move Request[edit]

To reflect Wikipedia's style guide for the names of currency units this article ought to be moved to "Lewes pound", without the capitalisation. TheCurrencyGuy (talk) 21:52, 21 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
