It is part of a series of biographies of scientists who have been recognized by the American Chemical Society's Rubber Division as having made significant contributions to rubber science. The award is international in scope. This particular award is for early career scientists who have already made significant contributions. The award nomination and selection process are highly competitive [1]. The awards are covered by independent, global trade press.
