Lexi Wilson's Professionalism

[edit]

The edit of the show implies that Lexi Wilson was not professional.

She supposedly ate a lamp chop that a guest would have eaten.

It implies that she was "giving sh__" to the Chief Stew when if one researched the preceding conversation, there is no consensus on how glasses are arranged at a formal dining event. Lexi was doing her job in raising the question. And told the Chief Stew she would do whatever she directed.

The producers also implied she told the chef to "fire the scallops" when it's clear the producers could have shown if that was true or not. That she was fired creates a conflict of interest for the producers. Do they show Lexi Wilson accurately in her position of 2nd Stew? Or do they tip the scales to edit the footage to show her as someone deserving to be fired?

The show was filmed in the fall of 2020, peak Covid. It's hard to believe there wasn't a Covid Compliance Officer on board, hired by the producers. It's hard to believe the "firing of the scallops" would not have been coordinated with them since they would direct all the interactions of everyone on they yacht.

Lexi Wilson has removed all her public internet accounts. Shortly after the airing of the season she posted a defense on Instagram (now removed) "“24 hours and the [camera] is rolling but only 47 minutes is aired let that (SINK IN), then they have to adjust the hours to fit the 40 minutes! A few things, though [smiley face emoji] 1) I never walked in Galley and pick up without asking!! 2) It was scraps. Literally scraps on a bone. 2 pieces of bones 3) Now I understand when an industry friend told me it’s not the cameras you should be concerned about; it’s the editing,”

All social media on the subject of Below Deck is controlled by fans who may be influenced by Comcast or its subsidiaries. Therefore, Lexi's Wikipedia page should mention a possible defense of her professional behavior in her absence. Maxrottersman (talk) 13:22, 26 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
