Opening statement[edit]

In reviews I conduct, I may make small copyedits. These will only be limited to spelling and punctuation (removal of double spaces and such). I will only make substantive edits that change the flow and structure of the prose if I previously suggested and it is necessary. For replying to Reviewer comment, please use  Done,  Fixed, plus Added,  Not done,  Doing..., or minus Removed, followed by any comment you'd like to make. I will be crossing out my comments as they are redressed, and only mine. A detailed, section-by-section review will follow. —♠Vami_IV†♠ 22:27, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This was almost a Quick Pass from me, but I think there are some additions to be made to the article. They are detailed below. –♠Vami_IV†♠ 22:27, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks for taking this on, and for the kind words. Chiswick Chap (talk) 07:42, 15 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Broadness and prose[edit]

  • Could you discuss what yoga is in "Context"?
Somewhat like trying to define Jazz...  Done
  • What language was the book first published in? I assume English, but the article doesn't tell me.
Yes.  Done
  • Move The yoga scholar Mark Singleton [...] into the first paragraph of "Reception".
Moved and merged with his other comments. Or we can mention him both under Illustrations and under Reception, as you like.  Done
  • The yoga teacher Bernie Gourley [...] This sentence is golden as a transition from praise for the book to criticism of it.
Thank you.
