Hybrid citrus taxonomy is pretty messy here. Limequat is listed as "Species: Citrus X Fortunella", which is a hybrid formula for a genus, not a species. Citrofortunella is another way to describe the hybrid genus, with limequat listed on that page as "Citrofortunella x floridana". List of Rutaceae genera doesn't include hybrid genera. Kumqu'''at treats Fortunella as a subgenus of Citrus (in which case, the limequat genus would be a pretty straightforward "Citrus"). Obviously, the hybrid citruses can be named in a number of ways, but it would be good to pick a consistent standard. 63.78.97.2 (talk) 21:52, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

9 months later, and nobody had done anything with this. I went and changed the taxobox to have the genus and species as Citrofortunella x floridana, with the correct authority (no idea where the heck "(L.) Burm. f." came from). I don't really know if Citrofortunella floridana is "right" given the inconsistent taxonomy on Wikipedia, but at least it's not completely bogus like listing Citrus x Fortunella as a specific epithet and with an authority that apparently came out of nowhere. 192.104.39.2 (talk) 22:25, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The 'Care' section reads very badly - as if it were a copy-pasted instruction manual rather than an encyclopedia article. Further, there's a remnant ']' that needs removal. --BountyHunterSAx (talk) 22:19, 14 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
