With the news released today that the body of Linda Collins-Smith was in an "advanced state of decomposition" when located on June 4, I have changed the "circa" death date to May 28, 2019 which fits the video camera evidence also released today. I left the "circa" to indicate that it's not 100% certain but odds make it highly probable that the date of death was May 28.
According to the article assassination at the time of this writing, "Assassination is the killing of a prominent or important person for political reasons or of a prominent or important person,[1] such as a head of state, head of government, politician, world leader, member of a royal family or CEO. An assassination may be prompted by political and military motives, or done for financial gain, to avenge a grievance, from a desire to acquire fame or notoriety, or because of a military, security, insurgent or secret police group's command to carry out the assassination."
