Lindsay HartleyLindsay Korman – The actress and the actor, Justin Hartley, is now divorced – NeoBatfreak (talk) 17:49, 5 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is a contested technical request (permalink). NeoBatfreak (talk) 17:50, 5 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • comment and? What has that got to do with her name? Many people keep their married names. Many people never use their married names, even while married. And being an actor, many of those have stage names unrelated to marriage status. So, what is her SAG-listed-name? -- 65.94.171.225 (talk) 22:46, 5 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Her legal name or marriage/divorce status is irrelevant. The article's title should be the professional/stage name that she currently uses, per WP:STAGENAME. Looking at sources regarding her most recent project, the recent TV film Perfect On Paper which aired a couple of weeks ago, still lists her as "Hartley".[1][2][3][4] Zzyzx11 (talk) 04:59, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting addition of personal information

[edit]

I have reverted the addition of a birth name and a date of birth. They were unsourced in the article, which goes against Wikipedia:Citing sources and WP:BLPPRIVACY.

The edit summary said, "source https://californiabirthindex.org/birth/lindsay_nicole_korman_born_1978_13688336", but WP:BLPPRIMARY specifies, "Do not use trial transcripts and other court records, or other public documents, to support assertions about a living person. Do not use public records that include personal details, such as date of birth, ..."

Because this article is about a living person, the birth name and/or date of birth need to be accompanied by a citation to a reliable, published, non-primary source. Eddie Blick (talk) 01:04, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
