jrJost, discuss before you remove for no reason.--Sfiga (talk) 12:22, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone know more about the Variax? I'd like to write more about it, but aside from their own spin, there isn't much information on the thing. I'm not even sure where the pickup is (it still has a pickup, right? They mention that each string has it's own processor, but I imagine it must have a pickup somewhere).

EDIT: I did some of my own research and found out how it works. The pickups are where the strings connect at the bottom. I'm not very good at writing articles, but maybe someone else would like to add it, if they feel it is relevant.

Why does this violate NPOV? I don't see anything that would indicate that. Granted, there's a lot of lists of features, but that's not exactly advertisement.

I own a Variax, and did a lot of the previous updating to this article. I'm as confused about the NPOV stuff as you are. Mewcenary 22:18, 29 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Encouraged to "be bold", I removed the cleanup/npov notice because I don't think that the article is biased or needs cleanup. -Anonymous 11:53, 28 April 2006 (GMT-5)
The Variax uses 6 piezoelectric pickups, located at the brige.

Just added some info about the Lowdown and Spider III series as well as a general tidy up (the Spider series DOES use a solid state preamp, it simply models the signal first). Mobius131186 12:59, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

EVH plays Line 6 stuff?

[edit]

The reference (number 7 btw) looks dead, and there is no other supporting information for this claim. I will kill soon if no discussion occurs. 208.168.238.169 (talk) 18:13, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I could find nothing to back this up either--Sombodystolemyname (talk) 02:45, 8 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sales brochure

[edit]

The article resembles a brochure, featuring, as it does, an apparently exhaustive list of company products. I do not believe this is acceptable, especially since the article does not cite a single secondary source. I will trim the section, and editors can reinsert elements if they have some sort of validation from reliable secondary sources. Drmies (talk) 21:24, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Product history

[edit]

The list of product history misses important Produkts, like AxSys or Ax2. Also it should read chronologically, not reversed. KhlavKhalash (talk) 17:05, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
