Lauper[edit]

Although the LinnDrum was used at first as a guide track it did not feature on the final recording of Cyndi Lauper's "Girls just wanna have fun". The drums are a live kit; there is an RE20 mic inside the bass drum with a blanket over the drum. The only drum machine to feature in the final song is the handclap of an 808 which is layered on. Incorrect Citation[edit]

This quote is attributed to an incorrect source. The source does not have the quote in it.

"The LM-1 was the first drum machine to use samples of a real drum kit, Roger Linn confirms that it was indeed Art Wood session drummer that played the majority of the sounds that he used.[9]
