Infobox and lead

[edit]
  • The infobox recording date of 2014 is not sourced in the body anywhere
    • Removed
  • WP:OVERLINK of Porter Robinson under songwriters
    • Fixed
  • Replace hlist with bullet points per Template:Infobox song
    • Fixed
  • The first sentence should mention it being from his debut studio album, Worlds (2014)
    • Added
  • Move the release sentence to the fourth of the paragraph instead and change to the album rather than its title
  • "The track was one of" → "It was one of"
    • Done
  • I would suggest starting a new para at the Passion Pit and re-word it to something like "The song was noted for the influence from Passion Pit."
  • Add after the above sentence one about the song's critical reviews
    • As with "Sad Machine" I prefer adding sentences regarding reviews only when sources explicitly comment on it. In the case of "Sad Machine", critics generally agreed on its atmospheric feeling, but here I don't think there's an easy way to summarize the reviews, otherwise it would get too extensive. However I added another sentence saying that critics noted that "it was the first on Worlds with a faster tempo". Skyshiftertalk 21:19, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • "a music video was" → "an accompanying music video was" with the wikilink, add info about the synopsis too
    • Done
  • Mention which charts it entered
    • I think that's too much info considering the length of the article; it would be almost the same as the last paragraph of "Release and reception".

Background and composition

[edit]
  • Add info about the synths to the audio sample too
    • I don't see that info in the article, but I added that "Multiple critics found it influenced by Passion Pit".
  • Add the release year of Space Invaders in brackets
    • Done
  • Pipe electro-house to Electro house
    • Done
  • Pipe Consequence of Sound to Consequence (publication)
    • Done
  • "found it inspired by Passion Pit" → "found it inspired by the band" to avoid using their name so much
    • Done
  • Merge the Las Vegas Weekly and Spin sentences by using a comma with "while"
    • I don't think these sentences are related enough, unlike the previous one about Passion Pit.

Release and reception

[edit]
  • "On June 3, "Lionhearted" was" → "On June 3, 2014, "Lionhearted" was" and move [6] to being solely at the end of the sentence
    • Done
  • "on the 17th, accompanied by a music video" → "on June 17, accompanied by a music video" with the wikilink
    • Done
  • Put parts of the longer reviews quoted into your own words per MOS:OVERQUOTE
    • Done
  • 'St Elmo's Fire' should be surrounded by single speech marks and piped to St Elmo's fire
    • Done
  • Pipe Variance to Variance (magazine)
    • Done
  • Pipe Beat to Beat (magazine)
  • "described it as" → "described the song as"
    • Done
  • Mention what the positions the song charted at were, although I do not see the Ultratop Dance one sourced
    • Done

[edit]
  • Good

Personnel

[edit]
  • Use {{spaced ndash}} so there is the right space between credits and personnel
    • Done

[edit]

[edit]

Year-end charts

[edit]

  • You need to add sources for these releases
    • Done

Final comments and verdict

[edit]
  • Skyshifter I have done some copy editing for you now, although you still need to add various sources to back up the Apple Music releases being in various locations; try about three or four regions please. --K. Peake 09:09, 21 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
