I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of 2010s American state and local politicians convicted of crimes's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "guilty":

  • From Isaac Carothers: Korecki, Natasha (February 1, 2010). "Ald. Carothers pleads guilty in bribery, fraud scheme; He plans to resign today from the Chicago City Council, his lawyer says". Chicago Sun-Times. Archived from the original on February 4, 2010. Retrieved February 6, 2009.
  • From List of lists of American state and local politicians convicted of crimes: "NJ mayor resigns, pleads guilty to corruption". Archived from the original on January 30, 2013.
  • From Jake Files: Hughes, Dave (January 29, 2018). "Arkansas lawmaker pleads guilty to wire fraud, money laundering; governor says senator to resign soon". Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. Retrieved January 30, 2018.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. Feel free to remove this comment after fixing the refs. AnomieBOT 10:38, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
