WJMP switched from Air America to Fox Sports in July 2005 and Air America moved to WARF.

KRPT switched from Air America to Country ("The Outlaw") in late 2005.

Seriously, when Air America maintains its own list of affiliates at http://www.airamericaradio.com/stations, what is the value of having an unmainted, out of date list here? An Encyclopedia should be about relatively static historical information - it is not an almanac or a newspaper. The sheer amount of effort necessary to maintain highly volatile lists means they are guaranteed not to remain accurate.

Phoenix just went off the air today. --Tbeatty 03:34, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
I noticed that while driving just a few days ago. I was listening to some women discuss how they walk 30 minutes twice a week and wake up to pray every morning in order to stay in shape. It didn't seem quite like Air America to me. (Corby 05:44, 18 March 2006 (UTC))
I turned it on during what was usually the Randi Rhodes Show. I thought it was a comedy skit for the first 5 minutes. But it never ended.--Tbeatty 06:59, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

KXXT Bought out in Fundie Campaign to Shut down Air America

KXXT as an Air America station was just starting to be profitable when rich fundie rightards decided to exercise their god-given right to be arrogantly and obscenely rich, and buy out the station to put Yet Another god-awful Christian Radio station on the air in a market that already had 7 such stations. Welcome to Amerikkka —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 167.191.250.81 (talkcontribs) .

"Recently, conservatives have purchased several stations broadcasting Air America broadcasts and changed the programming. In Phoenix and West Virginia, right-wing Christian groups bought out Air America affiliate stations and converted to Christian formats. In Missoula, Montana, a station switched from Air America to music programming “because advertisers were being intimidated by the right wing,” [1] —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 87.113.64.28 (talkcontribs) .

I tried to edit the List of Air America Radio affiliates to highlight in the table which stations are owned by clear channel but the Tawkerbot2 seems to think this is vandalism. Why ? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 87.113.64.28 (talkcontribs) .

Don't get too upset. This bot tries to revert vandalism, but it is far from perfect. It sometimes reverts legitimate edits. --Asbl 18:44, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
