This list of chapters had previously been cited with a note at the top (in Wikispeak, a template warning) which said it needed references. OK. To counter this, I added a line introducing the chapter list that, unless otherwise noted, dates are from the fraternity's website, providing that link and specifying when the information was noted there.

Subsequent to my edits, another (anonymous) user attempted to clarify where the new colony dates were to be found, by noting "ΑΟΠ Facebook page" or "Instagram Beta Sigma AOII". While I assume these are correct, to satisfy Wikipedia standards, these references should provide the link and an 'accessed by' date. Thus:

<ref>ΑΟΠ Facebook page</ref>

should instead look like this when editing the source data:

<ref>[https://www.facebook.com/AOIIFraternity/ ΑΟΠ Facebook page], accessed 16 Nov 2016.</ref>

The same should be done for any Instagram reference. I will correct the existing new references to match this standard, and suggest any new references should follow the same model.

Finally, if someone gets around to it, there are several standard templates used to render these chapter lists into tables that can be easily sorted by date, school, name, etc., to make them even more useful to readers. Examples may be found among many of the other fraternities and sororities. Jax MN (talk) 15:42, 16 November 2016 (UTC)

Thanks, VS3142; the new format of the chapter list looks great. Jax MN (talk) 03:54, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
In case you are looking for something else to do with the list, (heh!), the only other common formatting adjustment that many of these chapter lists use, is to bold the names of active chapters, like Alpha at Columbia, and to render inactive chapters with italics, like Pi at Tulane. This can be noted in a body text note at the start of the list. Again, nice work. Jax MN (talk) 01:14, 2 September 2021 (UTC)
