Initial creation
[edit]I went ahead and performed a basic merge since it involved so many articles. The layout could probably stand to be redone, perhaps in table form with some of the technical specs included. Or perhaps the paragraphs can be expanded using the source cited and any others that might be found.
There wasn't a firm consensus on the name of the merged article. I chose List of Apple printers because it seemed most straightforward, although "Apple Inc. printers" seems like a fine choice too. Feel free to move the article if it develops into a more fleshed-out form. Shimeru (talk) 01:53, 9 May 2010 (UTC)
- To me, a "List of..." article should be just that. A list of something, possibly with links to more detailed articles about the individual subjects and/or an opening general overview. For example, List of bus routes in London. If you're going to have detailed paragraphs about each item and not links to other articles, then a title like "Apple Inc. printers" is probably more appropriate. See an example like Nokia phone series. -- Hawaiian717 (talk) 15:22, 19 August 2011 (UTC)
Need to clarify dates discontinued
[edit]Knowing that all Apple printers are discontinued, the fact that some are listed as "N/A" in the Date Discontinued column is misleading. We really need to find the dates when they were discontinued and list them as such in the tables. The Mysterious El Willstro (talk) 07:37, 21 February 2012 (UTC)
