Removed the previous discussions in this talk page

[edit]

The previous discussions that occurred in this talk page were removed because of toxic and xenophobic comments. The previous discussions contained a lot of hateful comments which were likely influenced by xenophobia, anti-Arabism and Islamophobia. The previous talk page also contained some stupid discussions, such as whether or not Syria is an Arab country and if most Syrians would even identify as Arabs (75% of Syrians are Arab[1][2] and the Astronaut included in this list is also an Arab). To maintain a civil manner in this talk page, all of the previous discussions were removed. Asaduzzaman Khan Shahriar (talk) 14:44, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This article needs to be updated

[edit]

This article is missing 3 Arab astronauts (najmonauts) who went to space. They are:

(1) Sara Sabry (First Egyptian astronaut, first Arab women astronaut)

(2) Ali AlQarni

(3) Rayyanah Barnawi (First Saudi women astronaut) Asaduzzaman Khan Shahriar (talk) 14:50, 22 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I came here to check on this as well. Asaduzzaman Khan Shahriar is correct, all three are Arab astronauts that were missing from the list. AlQarni and Barnawi were added yet Sara Sabry had still not been added. Updating now. "My name is Mike Mongo and I'm an astronaut teacher!" (talk) 01:10, 28 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
