‘List of routes’ updates[edit]

I am not a seasoned wiki updater, so I come to you for help/advice. I have more information about what's listed on this page, but I am unsure of the preferred formatting, nor do I really know what is considered necessary for the page. I'll just list what I know (I'm a COTA bus operator) and let the knowledge flow, as it were.

Many routes (called 'lines' internally) have different branches. Basically, two buses run the same route to a point, maybe 15 minutes apart. They then split at a certain point, so the branches have 30 minute service. Others have a shortened route, presumably with the same idea (frequency on certain sections). In addition, some lines have been changed from what is listed here. These branches and shortened routes cause confusion, with people boarding a bus heading to the wrong destination, or not going as far as they need, although the line number looks correct.

Kenny/Livingston: one branch goes to Pickforde & Bethel (Sawmill & Bethel on the bus header). The other goes to Riverside Hospital.

E. Main/N. High: one goes to Main St. and Oak Valley Rd. (Reynoldsburg on the header). The other goes to Great Eastern SC (Hamilton Rd.)

Northwest/Harrisburg: no real changes, but NB header says 'To Kingsdale SC'

Indianola/Lockbourne: no changes

W. 5th/Refugee: one ends at Renner Rd., the other goes to N. Murray Hill Rd. & Beacon Hill Rd., as COTA is no longer allowed on casino property (To Lincoln Village).

Cleveland/Sullivant: Cleveland Ave. has been removed; this is now 6 Sullivant. The route has been truncated to the Spring Street terminal (bay 2).

-9: no changes. 7 says To Airport. 8 says to Sawmill/Bethel.

E/W Broad: one goes to Limited, one stops short at Mt. Carmel East hospital.

-12: no change. Side note, line 12 is basically a shuttle for employees between the two facilities and to provide transport for drivers who are relieving/being relieved by other drivers (although a small amount of people do use it).

Hilliard Rome: no longer goes to the casino. End of line is same as #5 (Lincoln Village).

-23: no changes.

Hamilton: only ends at Eastland Mall on weekends. On weekdays it goes to London Groveport Rd.

Brice: no changes.

-32: no changes. WB 32 says 'To Hilliard'.

Henderson: one goes to Metro Place, one goes to Sawmill Rd. & Summer Dr.

Morse: no changes.

Dublin Granville: no changes WB (header says 161/Busch). EB has been extended to New Albany Park & Ride.

-75: no changes, but 71 will be ending at Renner Rd. P&R effective 1/1/2024.

Other routes (mostly just nerdy internal stuff):

CMAX 102: 102 141: Zoo Bus 152: Airconnect **not currently active** 222: Night Owl: **not currently active**
