Colors

[edit]

If the second season DVD box info is colored green, shouldn't the S2 eps and introductory quote be the same? Also, how about adding the specific commentary participants on the individual ep boxes? Many thanks. Mdiamante 16:14, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to change any colors. You can also add whatever you like to the DVD tables, as long as it doesn't look like an amazon advertisement (remember that specifics may be different for each region, such at distributer, episode length, rating,... the extras are the same everywhere though, I guess). – sgeureka t•c 16:25, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I would, but I'm a bit fuzzy on the whole color-coding business, and don't own the dvds and therefore am not sure which has whose commentary.Mdiamante 20:46, 18 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Map

[edit]

Just an idle thought, but since (I believe) neither Hawaii nor Alaska are mentioned in the series (nor were they states yet), perhaps they should be removed from the map. Mdiamante 23:38, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea. I remember Felix say in one ep that something is forbidden "in all 48 states". – sgeureka t•c 01:21, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Carnivale season1.jpg

[edit]

Image:Carnivale season1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Section move

[edit]

I'd like to propose we move the DVD information to below the episode listing. For one, a part from the LOE pages, it's generally standard practice among TV and Film articles to put DVD info last. This is a List of Episodes page, and not a List of DVDs page, so the first thing a reader should see should be the episodes. It's also a bit misleading to have it under "Series overview" (or something similar), because it isn't an overview or a summary. It's just a table for the DVD releases. I recently adjusted List of Smallville episodes to reflect that, moving the DVD info below the episodes under the new header of "Home video release", which is more appropriate given what it actually is. This isn't a major change, but I'd rather come to the talk pages of all the relevant LOE pages first.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 12:08, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I like it better where it is. I agree that the table is heavy on DVD info but I think it is important to introduce the seasons before the individual episodes (whihc the table does). It also includes viewing figure information which in no way relates to the DVDs so it would be more wrong to move it to a DVD section than to keep it where it is in my view.--Opark 77 (talk) 21:51, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There's a larger discussion taking place at WT:TV.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 22:59, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

TARAVATARAV writings on the wall

[edit]

In episode 5, it's not TARAVATARAV on the wall, it's actually AVATAR repeated over and over again. --Pavithran (talk) 10:25, 28 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
